TOYODA FH-550R HORIZONTAL MACHINING CENTER

The 2004 TOYODA FH-550R Horizontal Machining Center is a high-performance CNC machine designed for demanding production environments. Featuring a robust 21.7" platter and a 550mm x 550mm pallet size, it supports versatile workpiece configurations. The machine is equipped with a powerful 40 HP spindle capable of reaching speeds up to 15,000 RPM, ensuring efficient material removal and precision machining. It utilizes a CAT 50 tool holder for maximum rigidity and compatibility with a wide range of cutting tools. Each unit in the system offers a 230-tool magazine capacity, enabling extended unmanned operation and reducing tool change downtime. The system consists of three FH-550R machining centers integrated into a flexible manufacturing cell, supported by 34 pallets on two levels and two dedicated load/unload stations for seamless workflow management. Control is managed by the advanced FANUC 30iMA CNC system, featuring a 14" color CRT display for intuitive operation and monitoring. The inclusion of a full 4th axis rotary table allows for complex multi-sided machining, enhancing part accuracy and reducing setup times.
