The TOYODA UA2090Ti is a high-performance 5-axis vertical machining center engineered for heavy-duty, high-precision machining of large titanium and hard alloy components. Featuring a robust construction with a single-piece high-grade Meehanite cast iron frame, the machine delivers exceptional rigidity and vibration absorption for consistent accuracy. The UA2090Ti utilizes a tilting head design for five-axis capability, enabling complex 3D contouring and flexible part orientation. Axis travels are 78.7 inches (X), 35.4 inches (Y), and 27.5 inches (Z), accommodating large workpieces with a maximum table load of 4,850 lbs. The spindle is powered by a 30 HP (22 kW) continuous / 35 HP (25 kW) 30-minute rating motor, capable of reaching 8,000 RPM, and employs a direct drive Big Plus #50 taper for superior rigidity and tool holding. An oil-recirculating heat exchange system maintains constant spindle temperature, minimizing thermal expansion and ensuring long-term accuracy. The machine is equipped with a 30-station automatic tool changer (ATC), with an optional 40-station magazine, and features a hinged belt lift-up chip conveyor for efficient chip removal.
