Technical Description

The Toyota 8BNCU20/18.5 is an electric stand-up counterbalance forklift designed for versatile and efficient material handling in narrow aisles and dock-to-stock operations. It features a load capacity of 4,000 lbs (1810 kg) at a 24-inch load center, supported by a 36-volt electric power system with a 1085 Ah lead-acid battery weighing 2299.5 lbs. Powered by a 7 hp (5 kW) 4-pole induction AC 3-phase drive motor and a 14.1 hp (10 kW) DC permanent magnet motor for hydraulic load handling, the forklift ensures smooth operation with transistor MOSFET controls for both load handling and drive functions. It uses a plugging/electric disc brake system and contactor-controlled power steering for precise maneuverability.
