The TRENS SN 500 SA is a universal centre lathe designed for piece and small-lot production, as well as maintenance and repair workshop applications. This horizontally-oriented machine features a robust construction with a main spindle motor output of 7.5 kW, delivering maximum turning capabilities of 19 inches in diameter and 59 inches in length. The spindle operates across a wide speed range from 12.5 to 2,000 rpm, providing versatility for various machining operations. With a swing over bed of 505 mm and the ability to accommodate workpieces up to 700 mm in the gap area, this lathe suits diverse turning applications. The machine accommodates distance between centers available in 1,000 mm, 1,500 mm, and 2,000 mm configurations, offering flexibility for different workpiece lengths. The cross slide provides 300 mm of working travel, while the tool slide delivers 140 mm of travel, with maximum tool dimensions of 32 x 25 mm. Longitudinal feeds range from 0.05 to 6.4 mm per revolution, and cross feeds from 0.025 to 3.2 mm per revolution, enabling precise control over material removal rates. The spindle front nose conforms to STN ISO 702/III-B8 standards with a 77 mm bore featuring internal metric taper. The machine weighs approximately 2,400 kg and measures 1,525 mm in height and 1,100 mm in width, making it suitable for professional workshop environments. Optional configurations include an increased spindle bore of up to 105 mm for specialized applications.
