The UNION K 110 Horizontal Machining Center is a high-performance, 5-axis CNC machine designed for precision machining of large and heavy workpieces. The table measures 49" x 40" (standard) or up to 63" x 50" (optional), supporting a maximum workpiece weight of 17,600 lbs. The horizontal spindle features a CAT #50 taper (optional HSK 63), with a top speed of 5,000 RPM (up to 6,000 RPM with optional configuration) and a 30-minute power rating of 49 HP. The machine is equipped with an automatic tool changer (ATC) for 40 tools (expandable to 120), with a tool change time of 2 seconds and chip-to-chip time of 15 seconds. A pallet changer is available as an option, supporting up to 2 pallets. Axis travels are X1: 78" (up to 98" optional), Y1: 63" (up to 78" optional), Z1: 40" (up to 59" optional), with maximum feed and rapid traverse rates of 236 ipm and 1,179 ipm, respectively. The machine offers optional U-axis and 6-axis configurations for enhanced flexibility. The A1 axis provides 110° rotation, while the B1 axis offers full 360° rotation.
