This vertical machining center features a robust 40" x 20" worktable capable of supporting workpieces up to 1,102 lbs, designed for heavy and precise machining tasks. The spindle runs vertically with a #40 taper, providing up to 15 HP (30-minute rating) and a top speed of 6,000 RPM, balancing power and speed for various cutting operations. The machine is equipped with a 24-tool automatic tool changer (ATC) that facilitates efficient machining with a 7-second tool change time and 14 seconds for chip-to-chip change, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. It operates on a 3-axis system with an optional 4-axis configuration, offering X, Y, and Z travels of 31.5", 20", and 24.03" respectively, each capable of a maximum feed rate of 158 IPM and rapid traverse speeds up to 473 IPM. The B-axis provides full 360° rotation, allowing complex multi-angle machining and improved flexibility.
