The Volvo G970 Motor Grader is a robust and versatile machine designed for demanding grading applications. Powered by a turbocharged, aftercooled Volvo D9B 6-cylinder diesel engine with a displacement of 573 cu in, it delivers a maximum power of 262 hp at 1700 rpm and a net torque of 876 lb-ft at 1550 rpm. The grader features an HTE 840 fully sequential, direct drive, Volvo powershift transmission with 8 forward and 4 reverse gears, enabling smooth operation and a top speed of 27.4 mph forward and 19.3 mph in reverse.
