Technical Description

The W.F. Wells L Horizontal Band Saw is engineered for precision cutting with a robust design, featuring a rectangular capacity of 9" height by 17" width at 90 degrees and an 8" diameter for round stock. At a 45-degree angle, it maintains a rectangular capacity of 9" height by 8" width and an 8" diameter for round materials. This machine supports a weight capacity of 2,000 lbs, making it suitable for heavy-duty applications. The blade operates at variable speeds ranging from 70 to 380 SFPM, utilizing a 1" x 0.035" x 11' 6" blade size. The sawing feed is hydraulic and variable, ensuring adaptability to different materials. Equipped with carbide blade guides and backup rollers, it ensures stability and precision during operation. Manual blade tensioning and a 14.5" bandwheel size contribute to its reliability.
