It is equipped with a vertical spindle with a CAT #50 taper, providing enhanced rigidity and stability for tough cutting operations. The spindle delivers a standard power rating of 30 HP for 30-minute intervals, with an optional upgrade to 50 HP, and operates at a top speed of 4,500 RPM, which can be increased to 6,000 RPM as an option. The tool handling system includes a side-mounted arm-type automatic tool changer (ATC) accommodating up to 24 tools as standard, with an optional capacity for 60, supporting high productivity and rapid tool changes. The machine operates on 3 axes (X, Y, and Z) with travels of 126” (X, inferred from table length), 70” (Y), and 35” (Z), allowing for extensive machining envelopes. Rapid traverse and feed rates are tailored to large-scale workpieces, optimizing operational efficiency.
