YASDA H30I HORIZONTAL MACHINING CENTER

The YASDA H30i is a high-precision 5-axis horizontal machining center designed for complex and multi-face machining tasks. It features a compact table measuring 11.81" x 11.81" with a maximum workpiece weight capacity of 176 lbs. The machine is equipped with a horizontal spindle utilizing a #40 Big Plus taper, running at a top speed of 12,000 RPM, with an optional upgrade to 20,000 RPM, powered by a 29 HP (30-minute rating) motor. The 5-axis system includes X, Y, Z linear axes with travels of 25.6", 22.05", and 22.05" respectively, and rotational A and B axes with full 165° and 360° ranges, enabling versatile orientation of workpieces. Tooling is managed by an automatic tool changer (ATC) holding up to 60 tools as standard, with expansions available up to 120 tools, and a rapid 4-second chip-to-chip tool change time. The machine has a dual pallet changer system enabling two pallets for increased productivity and efficient loading/unloading cycles. Rapid traverse speeds reach up to 2,358 inches per minute on linear axes, facilitating fast and smooth movements. Its construction supports machining materials including aluminum, cast iron, and pre-hardened steel, maintaining high accuracy and thermal stability through advanced spindle cooling and precision feedback scales.
