Technical Description

The Yasda YBM 7T Horizontal Machining Center features a highly rigid 24.8" x 24.8" table capable of supporting workpieces up to 2,640 lbs. It operates with a horizontal #50 taper spindle offering up to 10,000 RPM, with an optional upgrade to 15,000 RPM, powered by a 30 HP motor (40 HP optional) for high-performance machining. The machine includes a 60-station automatic tool changer (ATC), expandable up to 450 tools, and supports an optional pallet changer system with 2 pallets standard and up to 5 pallets optional to maximize throughput. It commands four axes: X (37.4"), Y (31.5" standard, 39.37" optional), Z (31.5" standard, 39.37" optional), and a 360° B-axis rotary table for complex angular machining. Maximum feed rate for X, Y, and Z axes is 589 IPM with a rapid traverse of 1,886 IPM, ensuring efficient material removal and positioning. The YBM 7T employs advanced thermal distortion stabilization and hybrid box guideways for high precision and repeatability under continuous heavy-duty operation. This machine supports demanding workpieces requiring high rigidity and precision, ideal for advanced manufacturing environments requiring flexible, high-capacity tooling and complex horizontal machining capabilities.
