Technical Description
The ZAYER ARION 3000 Vertical Machining Center is a high-performance bridge-type machining center designed for precision and versatility in demanding industrial applications. Featuring a fixed cross beam and moving table, the ARION 3000 offers a longitudinal travel of 3,000 mm, a cross travel of 3,100 mm, and a vertical travel of 1,100 mm, providing extensive work envelope capacity for large and complex components. The machine is constructed from vibration-damping cast iron, topologically optimized using finite element analysis, ensuring exceptional rigidity, stability, and accuracy. Its dual guideways, offset by 90° on the cross slide, deliver high dynamic performance and maximum rigidity, ideal for toolmaking, mold production, and mechanical engineering. The ARION 3000 is available with either powerful mechanical milling heads or high-speed motorized spindles, supporting both high-torque and high-speed machining requirements. Simultaneous 5-axis machining is available as an option, enabling advanced multi-sided and complex part processing. The machine’s compact, foundation-free design allows flexible installation directly on the hall floor, reducing setup time and costs. Extensive customization options ensure the ARION 3000 can be tailored to specific production needs, including a variety of spindle configurations, tool changers, and automation integrations. Manufactured by ZAYER, a company with over 45 years of experience in milling machines and machining centers, the ARION 3000 combines cutting-edge technology with proven reliability, making it a leading solution for high-precision, high-capacity vertical machining.
