This vertical machining center features a robust worktable measuring 47.24" (L) x 39.3" (W) capable of supporting workpieces up to 6,600 lbs, suitable for heavy-duty machining. The spindle operates vertically with a #40 Kessler LC2000 taper, delivering up to 12,000 RPM standard and optionally 16,000 RPM, powered by a 45 HP motor rated for 30 minutes, with a 40 HP option. Tool handling is managed via an Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) with a 30-tool capacity and a rapid tool change time of 3.5 seconds, enhancing operational efficiency. The machine supports three standard axes (X, Y, Z) with travel distances of 39.3", 31.5", and 23.6" respectively, each capable of a max feed rate of 787 ipm and rapid traverse up to 1,572 ipm, with a 4-axis option available for increased versatility. Optional support tables and rotary tables can be integrated for complex part handling and rotation.
