Introducing the 2018 Edge Technologies Patriot 338 Bar Feeder. This magazine-type bar feeder is designed to support fixed or sliding headstock lathes and accommodates round bar stock from 3 mm to 42 mm (0.118" to 1.653") in diameter. It supports bar lengths from 1000 mm to 3800 mm (39.4" to 12'5"), with the current configuration for 8 ft maximum bar length. The system features a 12-inch (304 mm) automatic loading magazine, polyurethane quick-change guide channels for noise and vibration reduction, hydrodynamic bar support utilizing high-volume oil flow, and dual anti-vibration devices, including an internal damping system and a second unit positioned between the telescopic nose and the lathe headstock.
