The Mag-Mate Creative Lift CL0400 is a permanent ceramic lifting magnet designed for single-operator material handling of flat steel plates, die castings, and forgings without the need for slings, clamping devices, or chains. It features a maximum rated flat capacity of 400 lbs, requiring a minimum material thickness of 3/16 inches for activation and achieving its maximum rated capacity on material thicknesses of 3 inches or greater. Operating with a 3:1 safety design factor, the unit incorporates a patented non-marring roller cam release mechanism alongside a low-torque, spring-return manual handle to safely disengage loads without surface gouging. It also includes a secondary jack screw release, a tall lift lug for crane hooks, and an embedded RFID chip for inventory management. Encased in a durable stainless steel housing, the magnet is heat-resistant up to 300°F (148°C) and conforms to ASME B30.20 BTH-1 design category B, service class 3 standards.
