This CNC vertical machining center features a robust worktable measuring 25.6" x 15.75", with an optional extension to 29.5" length, supporting workpieces up to 660 lbs. The machine is equipped with a vertical spindle utilizing a CT-40 taper standard, with an option for BT-40 taper, capable of spindle speeds up to 8,000 RPM standard and optionally 10,000 RPM. The spindle is powered by a 10 HP motor rated for 30 minutes, ensuring strong cutting performance. Tooling is managed via a bi-directional carousel tool changer, holding 16 tools as standard and expandable to 20, supporting efficient machining operations. A pallet changer is optionally available for enhanced workflow automation. The machine operates on 3 principal axes (X, Y, Z) with optional 4-axis capability. Travel distances are 20" (opt. 24") for X, 16" for Y, and 18" for Z, all with a maximum feed rate of 315 inches per minute and rapid traverse up to 1,000 ipm, enabling precise and fast tool movements. The CT-40 and BT-40 taper spindles conform to industry standards, offering a reliable interface for tooling with secure fit and stability, suitable for both medium and heavy-duty machining tasks.
