The vertical spindle utilizes a BT-50 taper, with CAT-50 as an alternative, and delivers up to 4,000 RPM standard or 8,000 RPM with the high-speed option, powered by a 30 HP (30-minute rating) motor for demanding cutting operations. Tool management is handled by a bi-directional carousel tool changer, accommodating 20 tools standard and up to 32 tools with the optional upgrade.
