The machine is equipped with a #40 taper vertical spindle operating at a standard 8,000 RPM, with an optional upgrade to 15,000 RPM for high-speed finishing operations. With a 17 HP spindle motor rated for 30-minute continuous duty, the machine delivers consistent performance across diverse materials and applications. The 3-axis configuration provides 39.3" of X-travel, 19.6" of Y-travel, and 24" of Z-travel (expandable to 35.4" optionally), accommodating a wide range of workpiece geometries. Rapid traverse rates of 1,965 IPM across all axes minimize non-cutting time and enhance productivity. The automatic tool changer manages 22 standard tools or 24 with optional configuration, with tool change times of 1.9 seconds and 7.9 seconds chip-to-chip, ensuring minimal downtime during production runs.
