This high-performance 5-axis vertical machining center features a robust 36.220" x 35.430" work table (optionally reduced to 24.800" x 24.800") capable of supporting workpieces up to 2,200 lbs. The vertical spindle utilizes a precision HSK-A63 taper (optional HSK-T63), delivering speeds up to 12,000 RPM standard with an 18,000 RPM upgrade available. The spindle is powered by a 39 HP motor (optional 53 HP), offering high torque and sustained power to handle demanding milling operations. The tool carrier supports up to 33 tools in a chain or rack system, with an option for a high-capacity 224-tool carousel, enabling diverse machining without interruption. Tool change times are rapid at 2 seconds, with chip-to-chip change times of 6 seconds, optimizing cycle efficiency. The machine offers coordinated 5-axis movement for complex geometries; X and Y axes each have 31.5" travel at rapid traverse rates to 3,930 IPM, Z-axis travel of 23.6", and a rotary A-axis movement of 240°. The system supports optional rotary tables for extended workholding flexibility but does not include pallet changers or U-axis capability.
