The machine is equipped with a vertical spindle utilizing an HSK-A63 taper, with an optional HSK-T63 taper, capable of speeds up to 10,000 RPM (18,000 RPM optional) and powered by a 21 HP (30-minute rating) motor (17 HP optional). Tooling is managed via a chain or rack tool carrier, accommodating 33 tools (224 optional), with rapid tool change times of 2 seconds and chip-to-chip change in 6 seconds. The system supports 5-axis operation (4-axis optional), delivering precise motion control across X, Y, and Z axes with travel distances of 25.5", 25.5", and 21.65" respectively, and an A-axis rotation of 280°. Maximum feed rates and rapid traverse speeds reach 3,930 ipm on all linear axes, ensuring efficient material removal and high throughput. An optional rotary table is available for enhanced workpiece positioning, while a pallet changer is not included.
