The Amera Seiki AH-1000 Horizontal Machining Center is engineered for heavy-duty, high-precision horizontal milling applications. Its spacious table measures 39.370" x 39.370" and supports workpieces up to 8,000 pounds, ensuring the capability to handle large and heavy parts with ease. The machining center features a horizontal spindle with a CT #50 taper, delivering a maximum speed of 6,000 RPM powered by a robust 35 HP motor rated for 30 minutes. The machine is equipped with a 60-tool automatic tool changer (ATC), expandable to 120 tools, providing extensive tooling capacity for diverse machining tasks. An optional pallet changer with two pallets can be added to enhance production efficiency. The AH-1000 operates on three axes—X, Y, and Z—with travels of 82.67", 48.62", and 48.62" respectively, all capable of rapid traverse rates up to 945 inches per minute.
