A+Technical Description
This vertical machining center features a robust 64.96" x 29.53" rectangular table capable of supporting workpieces up to 2,700 lbs, suitable for heavy-duty machining. The machine operates with a vertical spindle using a CT#40 taper as standard, with an optional CT#50 taper available for increased rigidity in demanding applications. The spindle delivers up to 30 HP (30-minute rating) and attains maximum speeds of 10,000 RPM (standard) with a 6,000 RPM option, balancing power and speed for diverse materials and cutting tasks. It is equipped with a 24-tool arm-type automatic tool changer (ATC), facilitating efficient, uninterrupted machining with optional pallet changer support for enhanced productivity. The machine supports three axes (X, Y, Z) with travels of 63.0", 29.53", and 27.56" respectively. All axes deliver a maximum feed rate of 590 inches per minute and rapid traverse rates up to 1,181 inches per minute, ensuring high-speed movement and precise positioning for complex parts. There is an option to add a fourth axis for rotational or additional linear movement. No U axis is included. Designed for versatile CNC operations, this center is ideal for large and heavy workpieces, offering optional rotary table integration for increased application flexibility. Its CT tapers conform to industry standards, supporting both CT40 and CT50 tooling systems for various machining needs, balancing rigidity and speed in precision manufacturing environments.
