The standard spindle operates at a maximum speed of 8,000 RPM with 5.00 HP (30-minute rating) and can be upgraded to an optional spindle reaching 24,000 RPM and 7.00 HP, supporting both high-speed and high-power machining tasks. The machine is equipped with an automatic tool changer supporting 10 tools by default, expandable to 20 tools for increased operational flexibility. The machine’s axes provide linear travels of 450 mm on X, 350 mm on Y, and 350 mm on Z, with maximum feed rates of 10 ipm and rapid traverse rates of 20 ipm across all three axes, enabling efficient and precise positioning. The spindle employs the BT (Japanese standard MAS403) taper system with a 7:24 taper angle, known for its symmetrical design that enhances balance and rigidity during high-speed rotations, reducing vibration and improving tool stability and accuracy.
