A+Technical Description
The BAOMA BM500F is a closed-loop EDM wire cutting machine designed for high-precision machining of complex metal components. This CNC-controlled system utilizes spark erosion technology, employing a thin wire electrode (typically 0.15-0.2mm molybdenum) that creates an electrical discharge arc between the wire and workpiece, enabling non-contact cutting without applying mechanical forces or significant heat. The machine features a table travel capacity of 400 x 500mm, accommodating workpieces up to 300mm in thickness with maximum taper capability of ±30° for thicknesses up to 100mm. It achieves exceptional precision, with octagon accuracy of ±0.012mm and surface roughness as low as ≤1.2μm in multi-cutting operations. The maximum cutting speed reaches 150mm²/min, with wire travel speeds adjustable between 5-11m/min. The BM500F incorporates a high-precision linear guideway system with steel ball screws for smooth, accurate movement across four axes (X, Y, U, V), enabling simultaneous multi-axis operations. It features an intelligent dual-direction automatic wire tension system and can directly upload AutoCAD .dxf files for seamless programming integration. The control system utilizes BMXP software with Windows XP-based embedded architecture, supporting CAD/CAM compatibility. With a maximum working current of 6A and powered by a 3-phase 380V/50Hz supply, the machine weighs approximately 2000kg. The 56-liter working reservoir accommodates BM-2, BM-4, or saponification solutions, making the BM500F ideal for precision applications requiring intricate detail and tight tolerances in diverse metal materials.
