A+Technical Description
The BAOMA DK7740H Wire EDM Machine is a precision CNC-controlled electrical discharge machining system designed for high-accuracy cutting of conductive materials. Featuring a robust worktable size of 500 x 785 mm and travel distances of 15.75 inches (400 mm) on the X-axis and 19.69 inches (500 mm) on the Y-axis, this machine accommodates a wide range of workpiece dimensions. It supports a maximum workpiece thickness of 300 mm, making it suitable for both standard and demanding industrial applications. The DK7740H utilizes a reliable CNC control system, ensuring precise and repeatable cutting operations with automated features such as taper processing, multi-cut capability, short circuit and wire-break handling, auto-edge positioning, auto-centering, and automatic transitional arc generation. The machine operates with a wire speed range of 5–11 m/s and a maximum working current of 6 A, supporting wire diameters from 0.15 to 0.2 mm for fine detail and smooth surface finishes. It achieves a maximum cutting speed of up to 150 mm²/min, with surface roughness typically below 1.2 μm after multi-cut processing. The system is equipped with a 100 L water tank and uses water-based working solutions (BM2/BM4) for efficient and stable machining. Modular internal wiring design enhances reliability and simplifies maintenance. The DK7740H also includes advanced functions such as power loss memory, automatic stop after processing, backward processing, and seamless integration with CAD software via its embedded Windows XP operating platform. This machine is ideal for tool and die making, mold manufacturing, and precision component production.
