The Bendmak B1DL Upright Drill Press is a compact, high-precision single-spindle beam drilling machine designed for efficient structural steel fabrication. Featuring a robust 20 HP spindle motor and a Siemens CNC controller, it delivers reliable performance with an RPM range of 10–3,000 for fast material removal. The machine supports profiles up to 47” in height and width, with a 47” support table and a 20’ bed length, making it suitable for a wide range of beam and section sizes. Its 6-station tool changer and BT40 spindle head with replaceable carbide tools enable versatile drilling, tapping (M12–M20), milling, scribe marking, and countersinking operations without repositioning workpieces. The 10” sub-axis allows for horizontal movement of the drilling head, enhancing operational flexibility. Equipped with robust hydraulic clamping, the B1DL ensures secure workpiece fixation for accurate and repeatable results.
