CATERPILLAR 16H MOTOR GRADERS

The Caterpillar 16H Motor Grader is a robust, high-performance machine designed for demanding road construction and land grading applications. It features a 6-cylinder Caterpillar 3406 turbocharged and aftercooled diesel engine, delivering up to 285 hp (213 kW) at 2000 rpm, with peak torque of 1143 lb-ft. The grader is equipped with an 8-speed direct drive, power shift, planetary transmission for smooth operation in both forward and reverse. The moldboard is 16 ft (4.877 m) wide, 31 in (787 mm) high, and 1 in (25 mm) thick, fabricated from wear-resistant, high-carbon steel, with a maximum depth of cut of 18.5 in (470 mm). The circle system allows for a blade tip angle of 40° forward and 5° rear, a maximum lift of 16.5 in (419 mm), and a reach of 91 in (2311 mm) outside the tires on both sides.
