The Charmilles Robofil 240CC is a precision wire EDM machine designed for high-accuracy machining of complex parts with a maximum workpiece dimension of 39.4 x 21.7 x 8.6 inches and a maximum weight capacity of 1650 lbs. It features a submerged cutting tank allowing dielectric fluid to fully immerse the workpiece for improved cutting efficiency and surface finish. The machine supports a taper angle of up to 30 degrees with a taper height capacity of 8.6 inches, enabling angled cuts and complex shapes. The U-V axis travels measure 13.7 x 8.6 inches, adding versatility in multi-axis machining.
