The Charmilles Robofil 240 CCS is a precision wire EDM machine designed for high-accuracy metal cutting applications across aerospace, automotive, and tool manufacturing industries. This 5-axis system features a substantial footprint of 80" x 80" x 78" and weighs 5,402 lbs, making it suitable for industrial shop environments. The machine is equipped with a 12" LCD touch screen control interface for intuitive operation and advanced CNC functionality. Key technical features include glass scale feedback on XY and UV axes, ensuring dimensional consistency and repeatability across machining operations. The system incorporates crash protection to safeguard against collision damage during rapid movements and automated operations.
