Technical Description
This CNC vertical machining center features a 39.4" x 20.1" table sized to support workpieces up to 1,100 lbs, designed for heavy-duty machining tasks. It operates on a 3-axis system (X: 33.5", Y: 20.9", Z: 20.1") with rapid traverse speeds up to 1,417 inches per minute and maximum feed rates of 394 inches per minute, enabling efficient material removal and cycle times. The spindle is vertical with a Big Plus #40 taper (optional BT 40), delivering 20 HP (30-minute rating) and speeds up to 10,000 RPM standard, with an optional increase to 15,000 RPM for higher speed machining applications. Tool handling is managed via an automatic tool changer (ATC) accommodating 25 tools, allowing quick tool changes in approximately 2 seconds and chip-to-chip times of 5 seconds, enhancing productivity. The machine lacks a rotary table and pallet changer but includes an optional support index table. Its robust construction supports precise machining of various materials with high accuracy, suitable for complex, heavy, and large parts requiring reliable vertical milling operations. This configuration is ideal for industrial applications demanding a balance of power, speed, and tooling capacity within a mid-sized machining envelope.
