The CHIRON DZ12 W Vertical Machining Center is a high-performance double-spindle vertical machining center engineered for precision and productivity. It features a robust X-axis travel of 21.65 inches, Y and Z-axis travels of 15.748 inches, and delivers 53.42 HP spindle power with speeds up to 40,000 RPM via a CAT 40 spindle taper. Equipped with two 32-position automatic tool changers and a 5th axis trunnion table, it enables complex 5-axis simultaneous machining operations with enhanced versatility. Control is provided by the advanced FANUC 31i B5 CNC system, supporting high-speed, high-accuracy multi-axis machining with integrated safety functions and 3D collision prevention. The machine is integrated into the UNO automation cell with a FANUC LR Mate 200iD 6-axis robot, allowing automated loading/unloading and extended unattended operation.
