A+Technical Description
This CNC machining center features dual vertical main spindles with HSK 63A taper as standard, offering an optional upgrade to HSK 100A taper for enhanced tooling capability. Both spindles deliver speeds up to 20,000 rpm (standard) or 12,500 rpm (optional), suitable for high-precision, high-speed machining processes. The machine is equipped with an Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) supporting 77 tools as standard, expandable up to 210 tools for increased machining flexibility and productivity. Tool change time is rapid, at 1 second standard and 2.7 seconds chip-to-chip, minimizing cycle times. It supports 3 linear axes (X, Y, Z) with travels of approximately 47.24", 25.59", and 23.62" respectively, enabling execution of complex parts within a substantial working envelope. An optional 4th axis can be added for enhanced multi-axis machining capabilities. The spindle orientation is vertical, optimized for high-accuracy vertical milling and turning operations. Optional pallet changer with two pallets increases automation for batch production and reduces downtime. The machine’s design accommodates optional support tables and rotary tables to boost workpiece setup flexibility. The 3-axis base configuration combined with the high rpm spindles and extensive tooling options suits a wide range of applications including die casting, injection molding, aerospace components, and precision mold manufacturing. This configuration balances high speed, precision taper tooling, rapid tool changes, and expansive axis travels, driving efficient manufacturing of complex, high-tolerance parts in a flexible CNC machining environment.
