The Chiron SERIES 31 Vertical Machining Center is a high-performance CNC machine designed for precision milling applications. Featuring a vertical spindle with an HSK 63A taper (optional HSK 100), it delivers robust tool holding and high-speed capability, supporting a maximum spindle speed of 15,000 RPM and a 30-minute power rating of 50 HP. The machine is equipped with a 3-axis configuration (X, Y, Z), offering generous travel distances of 31.5 inches on the X-axis and 21.65 inches on both the Y and Z axes, enabling efficient machining of medium to large workpieces. An automatic tool changer (ATC) with a capacity of 96 tools ensures rapid tool exchange and uninterrupted operation.
