Technical Description

The Cincinnati Milacron Falcon 200 is a two-axis CNC turning center built by Cincinnati Milacron in the mid-1990s. It is controlled by the PC-based Cincinnati Acramatic 2100 CNC. The machine swings 20.86 in over the bed and 9.84 in over the carriage, with a maximum machinable center distance of 16.53 in and a maximum tailstock position of 17.5 in. Cross (X-axis) travel is 8.45 in and longitudinal (Z-axis) travel is 16.53 in, with an infinitely variable feed range of 0.01 to 630 ipm. The A2-6 spindle nose carries an 8.25 in chuck as standard, and the spindle has a 2 in through-bore. A 15 hp spindle drive gives a speed range of 40 to 4,500 rpm in 1 rpm increments. Tooling is held on a single 12-position turret, and a tailstock is fitted for work between centers. The machine occupies about 109 x 55 in of floor space, stands about 77 in high and weighs about 6,600 lb.
