The Clausing Ibarmia BP-50LRS is a heavy-duty upright drill press engineered for precision and durability in demanding industrial environments. Featuring a robust 5.5 horsepower spindle motor and a 64.8-inch swing, this machine delivers reliable performance for a wide range of drilling and tapping applications. The drill capacity with manual feed reaches 1.97 inches in steel, supported by a 4MT spindle taper and a 3.46-inch quill diameter. The spindle travel (drilling depth) is 9.06 inches, and the unit offers nine spindle speeds ranging from 66 to 1255 RPM, selected via gear head drive with shift levers. The head elevation is powered by a geared motor, and the worktable measures 31.5 x 23.62 inches with T-slots for secure workpiece clamping. The electromagnetic clutch quill feed system ensures smooth and controlled operation, complemented by a depth scale and adjustable depth stop for accurate drilling. Additional features include a front hand wheel for fine feed, automatic lubrication pump, work light, manual spindle reversing buttons, and an automatic spindle reversing system for tapping on RS models. The machine is equipped with a coolant tank and pump in the base, a safety drill guard with microswitch, and an automatic tool ejector.
