The Clausing Ibarmia KS18 Upright Drill Press is a heavy-duty belt-drive round-column drilling machine with a 19.7-inch swing and 0.8 horsepower motor, designed for precision and versatility. It offers a maximum drilling capacity of 1 inch in steel and 1.18 inches in cast iron, with tapping capacities of 0.71 inches in steel and 0.87 inches in cast iron. The spindle features a 3MT taper and a quill diameter of 2.44 inches, providing a spindle travel (drilling depth) of 4.72 inches. The machine has 10 selectable speeds with a high/low speed range selector and includes a thermomagnetic switch, spindle reversing switch, and an automatic tool ejector for enhanced operational safety and convenience.
