The Clausing Ibarmia TL25 is a heavy-duty geared-head floor drill press designed for precision drilling, tapping, and reaming operations. Featuring a robust round column design, this machine delivers reliable performance in both steel and cast iron workpieces. With a maximum drilling capacity of 1" in mild steel and 1.18" in cast iron, combined with tapping capacities of 0.71" and 0.87" respectively, it accommodates a wide range of fastening applications. The machine operates across eight spindle speeds ranging from 90 to 3,360 RPM, enabling optimal tool selection for various hole sizes and materials. Powered by a 1.5 hp motor available in 230 or 460-volt three-phase configurations, it provides consistent torque throughout its operational range. The 3MT spindle taper with a 2.44" quill diameter and 4.72" spindle travel ensures adequate depth capacity for standard drilling tasks. The adjustable work table measures 10.6" x 11.8" with 1/2" T-slots for secure workpiece clamping, while the 24" x 15" base provides stability. Standing 85" high and weighing 650 lbs, the TL25 incorporates comprehensive safety features including an emergency stop button, drill guard with microswitch, automatic tool ejector, and thermomagnetic motor protection. Manual quill feed with depth scale and adjustable depth stop enables precise control, while the spindle reversing switch facilitates tapping operations. Optional RS model variants include automatic feed reversing for enhanced tapping capabilities.
