The Cubic KMV-22P Vertical Machining Center is a heavy-duty CNC machine designed for high-precision, large-part machining. It features a robust table measuring 86.000 inches in length by 65.000 inches in width, capable of supporting workpieces up to 22,000 lbs. The machine utilizes a vertical spindle with a standard CAT 50 taper, with an optional CAT 40 taper, and offers a top spindle speed of 4,500 RPM (upgradable to 6,000 RPM). The spindle is powered by a 30 HP (30-minute rating) motor, ensuring strong performance for demanding applications. The KMV-22P is equipped with an automatic tool changer (ATC) supporting 24 tools as standard, expandable to 32 tools, and achieves rapid tool changes in just 2.5 seconds. The machine operates on three axes (X, Y, Z) with travels of 86.600", 70.800" (optional 76.000"), and 35.400" respectively, and delivers a maximum feed rate and rapid traverse of 393 inches per minute on all axes.
