DAEWOO PUMA 230 CNC LATHE

This is a 2-axis CNC lathe designed for precision turning and manufacturing of cylindrical components. The machine features a 7.87" chuck with a maximum turning diameter of 13.78" and a maximum turning length of 21.57", accommodating bar stock up to 3.0" in diameter. The lathe operates on two linear axes—the X-axis controlling radial diameter adjustments and the Z-axis managing axial length movements. With 9.53" of X-axis travel and 22.83" of Z-axis travel, it provides substantial working envelope for medium-sized parts. The rapid traverse rates of 787 IPM on the X-axis and 1000 IPM on the Z-axis enable efficient tool repositioning between cutting operations.
