Technical Description

The DAINICHI MG65/75 is a heavy-duty horizontal machining center designed for precision turning operations. It features a single main spindle with a maximum turning diameter of 18.110" and a maximum turning length of 157.480", supporting a chuck diameter of 15.000" and a maximum swing of 29.560". The main spindle achieves speeds up to 1,800 RPM, powered by a standard 50 HP motor, with an optional upgrade to 60 HP for enhanced performance. The machine is equipped with two turrets as primary and secondary tool carriers, each capable of holding up to 8 turning tools and 8 rotary tools, allowing for a total of 2 simultaneous cutting tools. With a 4-axis configuration, the X-axis offers 15.000" of travel and a rapid traverse rate of 236 ipm, while the Z-axis provides a standard travel of 40.000" (extendable to 160.000" as an option) and matches the X-axis with a rapid traverse rate of 236 ipm.
