DEFUM WFS 130N HORIZONTAL MACHINING CENTER

The Defum WFS 130N is a heavy-duty horizontal machining center designed for precision boring and milling of large workpieces. It features a robust table with a standard size of 62.99" x 49.21", optionally expandable to 70.87" x 62.99", capable of supporting a maximum workpiece weight of 22,000 lbs. The machine comes standard with support for an indexing table and a rotary table, enhancing its versatility for complex machining tasks. It operates with a horizontal spindle of #50 taper, delivering a top speed of 1,600 RPM, with an optional upgrade to 2,000 RPM, powered by a 35 HP motor rated for 30 minutes. The spindle configuration facilitates precise horizontal machining on heavy components. Tooling options include an optional automatic tool changer (ATC) supporting 30 to 60 tools, with rapid tool change capabilities, and a pallet changer system available with up to 2 pallets for improved production efficiency. The machining center operates with 4 axes standard, with an option to add a 5th axis for enhanced machining flexibility. Axis travels include a Y-axis of 76.77", Z-axis ranging from 36.37" to an optional 49.21", and a full 360° rotary B-axis for comprehensive workpiece positioning. The machine's design incorporates rapid traverse rates and robust structural features to accommodate large, heavy, and precise milling or boring operations commonly required in heavy industrial applications.
