Technical Description

This CNC machining center features a robust 39 in. x 37 in. pallet, supporting large workpieces with maximum X, Y, and Z-axis travels of 39.4 in., 49.2 in., and 39.4 in., respectively. It accommodates workpieces up to 39.4 in. in diameter, 63 in. in height, and weighing as much as 4409.2 lbs. The machine is equipped with B-axis indexing from -30 to 210 degrees and a full 360-degree C-axis for versatile multi-sided machining. The spindle delivers high-speed performance at 12,000 RPM and utilizes an HSK 100 taper for superior rigidity and precision. A 60-tool automatic tool changer (ATC) ensures efficient tool management and reduced cycle times. The system features a high-pressure coolant system with 1100 PSI output, complemented by a paper coolant filtration unit for extended tool life and improved surface finishes. Integrated measurement and inspection capabilities include an M&H probe and Blum laser tool measurement system for enhanced accuracy and process reliability. Additionally, the machine is equipped with a new 4th axis rotary union installed under the pallet, enabling advanced rotary operations and expanded machining flexibility.
