Each spindle delivers 29.5 HP with speeds up to 5,000 RPM, supporting efficient simultaneous machining. The machine incorporates a primary tool carrier capable of holding up to 16 turning and 16 rotary tools, with a rotary tool motor delivering 7.4 HP at speeds of up to 12,000 RPM. The machine supports the use of up to three simultaneous cutting tools and operates across 12 axes, facilitating highly versatile and precise machining operations. Its robust and compact design incorporates thick, high-rigidity construction with Octagonal Ram Construction (ORC) for excellent thermal stability and minimal deformation. Rapid traverse rates reach 98.4 fpm on X-axes and 164.1 fpm on Z-axes, enhancing cycle times. The NZX 1500 also integrates powerful milling functions on turrets, allowing for 5-sided machining and comprehensive workpiece processing in a single setup.
