The DN Solutions HC 400 is a high-performance horizontal machining center designed for precise and efficient metalworking with a robust 15.75" x 15.75" table supporting workpieces up to 880 lbs. It features a horizontal spindle with a #40 taper, capable of up to 10,000 RPM and delivering 25 HP (30-minute rating), optimizing it for various machining tasks. The machine is equipped with a 40-tool automatic tool changer (ATC) that achieves fast tool change times of 1.5 seconds and chip-to-chip times of 4 seconds, enhancing productivity. A standard pallet changer with two pallets enables continuous operation and greater workflow efficiency. The HC 400 operates on three axes—X, Y, and Z—with travels of 23.6", 22", and 22.2" respectively, all capable of rapid traverse rates of 1,575 inches per minute and maximum feed rates of 630 inches per minute. An optional fourth axis (B axis) offers full 360-degree rotation, enabling complex machining of contoured parts.
