Technical Description

The DN Solutions PUMA 2100MS/LMS is a high-performance horizontal machining center designed for precision turning operations. It features a main spindle with a maximum turning diameter of 16.000" (406 mm) and a maximum turning length of 20.500" (520 mm), accommodating workpieces up to a 30.700" (780 mm) swing. The machine is equipped with an 8.300" (210 mm) chuck and supports a maximum bar diameter of 2.600" (66 mm). The main spindle delivers up to 4,500 RPM and 25 HP (18.5 kW), ensuring robust performance for demanding applications. A sub-spindle is also available, operating at 4,500 RPM and 10 HP (7.5 kW), enhancing versatility for complex part production. The turret-style tool carrier supports up to 12 turning tools and 24 rotary tools, with rotary tools capable of reaching 5,000 RPM. The machine offers two-axis control, with X-axis travel of 10.200" (260 mm) and Z-axis travel of 23.200" (590 mm). Rapid traverse rates are 1,181 ipm (30 m/min) on both X and Z axes, enabling fast cycle times.
