The DN Solutions PUMA 400 LMB is a precision horizontal turning center designed for medium to large workpiece machining. This CNC lathe features a maximum turning diameter of 22 inches with a turning length capacity of 79.8 inches, supported by a robust 30.3-inch swing over bed and 15-inch chuck. The machine accommodates bar stock up to 4.5 inches in diameter, making it versatile for various production applications. Equipped with a single main spindle rated at 2,000 RPM and 50 HP, the PUMA 400 LMB delivers powerful metal removal capabilities with a spindle torque of 125 Nm. The turret configuration supports up to 12 turning tools and 12 rotary tools, with an additional 10 HP rotary tool spindle operating at 3,000 RPM for complex multi-axis machining. The three-axis control system provides 14.3 inches of X-axis travel and 84.8 inches of Z-axis travel, all with rapid traverse rates up to 630 ipm, enabling efficient positioning and fast cycle times.
