The EMCO MAIER MAXXTURN 25 is a high-precision horizontal machining center designed for efficient production of small parts. It features two main spindles and a sub-spindle, each capable of speeds up to 8,000 RPM, with the main spindles delivering 8.7 HP and the sub-spindle providing 4.7 HP. The maximum turning diameter is 4.500" (114 mm), with a maximum turning length of 12.400" (315 mm) and a bar diameter capacity of 1.000" (25.4 mm). The main spindle chuck diameter is 4.000" (101.6 mm), and the maximum swing is 12.800" (325 mm). The machine is equipped with a VDI 16 primary tool carrier, supporting up to 12 turning tools and 12 rotary tools, with a rotary tool power of 2 HP. It allows for one simultaneous cutting tool operation. The MAXXTURN 25 operates on three axes, with X-axis travel of 3.900" (100 mm) and Z-axis travel of 13.800" (350 mm). Rapid traverse speeds are 787 ipm (20 m/min) on the X and Z axes, and 394 ipm (10 m/min) on the Y axis. The machine's rigid cast iron bed and maintenance-free roller guides ensure high stability and precision. It is suitable for both bar-fed and chucked parts, with integrated Y-axis and driven tools for milling and drilling operations. The control system supports advanced indexing and C-axis functions, making it ideal for complex, high-accuracy machining tasks.
