The EMCO MECMILL PLUS is a high-performance Horizontal Boring Mill featuring CNC control via a HEIDENHAIN ITNC530 system. Its expansive travel capabilities include an X-Horizontal Travel of the Column at 236.22 inches (6000 mm), a Y-Vertical Travel of the Head at 70.87 inches (1600-1850 mm), and a Z-Spindle Travel of 196.85 inches (4000-5000 mm). The basic machine operates with 3+2 axes, supporting high efficiency with rapid motion speeds and work feeds of 25 m/min in the X, Y, and Z axes. Designed for heavy-duty applications, it can handle a maximum table load of 15000 kg/m2. Tool management is flexible, offering 60, 80, 100, or 120 tool stations, and accommodating a maximum tool diameter of 200 mm, making it suitable for complex and demanding machining tasks.
