The Enshu GE480H is a high-performance horizontal machining center designed for precision and productivity with a 19.7" x 19.7" (500mm x 500mm) table supporting up to 1,100 lbs. It features a CAT #40 taper horizontal spindle delivering up to 15,000 RPM and a powerful 50 HP motor rated for 30 minutes, ensuring excellent cutting capability. The machine offers extensive travels of 31.5" on the X, Y, and Z axes with rapid traverse rates up to 3,543 inches per minute, coupled with a full 360° B-axis rotary capability, enabling flexible 4-axis machining. The tooling system includes an automatic tool changer (ATC) standard with 60 tools, expandable optionally to 300, optimizing non-cutting time and allowing high-mix, low-volume production. The machine has a standard pallet changer system equipped with two pallets for continuous operation and setup flexibility.
