This vertical machining center features a robust 66.8" x 32" work table that supports heavy-duty machining tasks with substantial surface area for large workpieces. The vertical spindle uses a CAT#50 taper (also optionally available in BT#50) designed for high rigidity and stability, suitable for heavy cutting loads, with a top spindle speed of 4,000 RPM, upgradeable to 6,000 RPM. The spindle motor power is rated at 25 HP for 30-minute duty, with an optional 35 HP variant available, providing strong torque for demanding milling operations. The machine includes a 20-tool automatic tool changer (ATC), with an optional upgrade to 35 tools, enabling efficient production with minimal downtime. The tool change chip time is effectively instantaneous at 0.00 seconds, maximizing cycle time efficiency. It is equipped with a 3-axis configuration—X, Y, and Z—with travel ranges of 63" along X, 31" along Y, and 27.5" along Z, allowing for versatile part machining with extensive reach.
